Bullying Power and the powerless

Bullying is a serious issue. It can have deep, lasing effects on young people. When bullying is occurring in schools, it changes the entire atmosphere of the place children go to first of all to learn. Bullies and the kids being bullied need someone to step in.

In many cases, parents are in the dark. They don’t know that bullying occurs as often as it does.

Oronde started getting bullied when he moved to a new school. He felt rejected and didn’t know where to turn. He ended up finding a sense of belonging with a rough crowd – as long as he was willing to follow their “rules”.
